A solo exhibition titled 'The Khadi March: Just Five Meters', presenting the works of Delhi-based artist Shelly Jyoti, inspired by the Gandhian ideals of swardharma, swadeshi and swaraj, will be on view at Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre, from October 20 through October 26, 2016.Known for her textile-base installations, visual artist Shelley Jyoti has adroitly incorporated Gandhian ideals and philosophies into her art practices. The demonstration showcases her immense creativity through her multi-media artworks that have been created using khadi textile, ajrakh printing and kantha embroidery.
