A group exhibition titled 'Track Changes', outlining the dictatorial rule of the communist times when art had to strive for its existence, is on view at Mendes Wood DM, São Paulo and will run through October 30, 2016.Conferring to the past and attempting to generate a possible narrative, this demonstration relates to different positions in Romanian art depicting the era when art had to parley its survival within the framework of state censorship (laxer in the 1960s and very tough in the 1980s), and the post-communist move of the 1990s, when the socio-political aspect of art was taken very critically - until the 2000s, denoted by a self-governing and independent status in a wider perspective of the international art field. The exhibition is on view at Mendes Wood DM, Rua da Consolação 3358, Jardins, São Paulo, SP 01416 – 000 Brazil.
