Almine Rech Gallery, London, is hosting an exhibition titled 'Metal Paintings' by Eric Lindman, on view through November 5, 2016.The exhibition presents New York based Eric Lindman’s new works, in which the artist creates fresh abstract forms with a fine attunement to painterly details, built around various found surfaces picked up on regular walks by him around the neighbourhood in Harlem, Manhattan, and using these object’s treatment as compositional elements. The majority of these works are on primed or linen-wrapped panel that are affixed with thin sheets of aluminium or steel sheetmetal, which are disguised and visible to different degrees by the different application of paint.
