Red Square Gallery, Hong Kong is hosting “Floating in the Clouds,” an exhibition by two contemporary Russian painters Irina Kotova and Olga Larionova that will run through February 12, 2017.These established and celebrated artists come together to put forth a unique display of folk art and historical depictions. Irina’s deft techniques and inimitable personal style come together in her artworks. Her artwork varies from myth to ordinary life and draws inspiration from traditional folk art. Their artworks embody the folk art tradition and impress the viewers with its meticulous detail and romantic, delicate atmosphere. Olga’s paintings, also her unique style, give a sense of warmth and kindness to the viewer. Her subjects are largely historical, with the clown having a recurring appearance to symbolize joy.
