Rodrigo Braga’s first solo exhibition in France, "Inland Sea," which opens as part of Nuit Blanche 2016, is on display at Palais de Tokyo until December 18, 2016.Invited to make use of the mineral landscape of the esplanade of Palais de Tokyo, Braga has created an enclaved sea, from which limestone rocks emerge. Crisscrossed with concave and convex fossil markings, these rocks bear witness to the teeming aquatic life that thrived in the basin of Paris, several million years ago. The relationships of communion and conflict between mankind and untamed nature lie at the heart of Braga’s performances and installations. The installation is on view at Palais de Tokyo, 13, avenue du Président Wilson, 75 116 Paris. For details, visit: http://www.palaisdetokyo.com/en/event/rodrigo-bragaClick on the slideshow for a sneak peek at the exhibition.
