Galerie Guido W. Baudach presents an exhibition by Tamina Amadyar (born 1989) titled “10,000 hours.” It will run from January 21 through March 4, 2017 in Berlin.This is the second solo exhibition of the Berlin-based artist. It comprises a group of paintings created around 2016/17 representing an ongoing and further development of her painterly praxis. Amadyar mixes her colors employing a broad brush on unprimed canvas. Her painted spaces are derived from memory but still are universal in nature. While operating with a strong reduction of representation, they always raise the question of what lies behind, what remains hidden.The exhibition is on view at Galerie Guido W.
