Tomas Nakada’s "Migrations" will run through February 18, 2017 at Anglim Gilbert Gallery, San Francisco, USA. "Migrations" is an exhibition of new paintings by Tomas Nakada. Over many years, the artist has refined abstract imagery evoking a three-dimensional matrix in flux or expansion. Nakada’s pictorial language also references a sense of time compression, whether micro-seconds within a tiny cell and or the decades and centuries of species migration across continents. Tomas Nakada has had solo exhibitions at the Newport Harbor Art Museum (now Orange County Museum) and at the Richmond Art Center, both in California. He has both a M.F.A. and a B.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute.
