This is one exhibit one must not miss, the latest set of works by Valérie Sonnier. A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, she has been a professor of drawing and morphology at the Beaux-Arts in Paris since 2003.After having attended Jeff Wall's seminar at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, she developed her personal work, throwing bridges from one medium to another. Super 8 drawings, paintings, photographs and films weave links between intimate memories and the collective memory of childhood.Born in 1967, Valérie Sonnier lives and works in Paris. She has been professor of drawing and morphology at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris since 2003. She took part in the University of British Columbia in Vancouver during the last year of her race. Since then she has developed her personal work using multimedia techniques.
