“Crepuscular Tales” marks Peter Kohler’s fifth solo exhibit with the gallery.Comprising of 36 drawings in all the show takes place in the main room of the gallery in installation form. Famed American curator an critic Terry R Myers describes the artist’s work and drawings to be akin to living a dream. It’s as if he draws just the way he dreams. Kohler excels in depicting such pictorial finesse that is a blend of three crucial elements. The first is the way the artist observes and looks at things, there is something very unique about his perspective. Second is his imagination, which is uncanny and indescribable in words for their vastness and the intimacy it contains.Third is Kohler’s assiduous technique where he alters the viewer’s perception of line, form and color. Together these three factors tend to produce a kind of gravitational pull the viewer has to succumb to. Each drawing is unique and bears the artist’s quintessential style of expressing his creativity. Born. 1971 in Stockholm Peter Köhler lives and works in Sweden.
