Gagosian will host Nancy Rubins’ exhibition titled “Diversifolia” at its London venue. The exhibition will feature new sculptures and drawings by Nancy Rubins in her first solo exhibition in London. The title “Diversifolia” indicates a single species of plants possessed with a considerable variety of leaves. Here, the artist transforms found objects and industrial refuse into expertly orchestrated abstractions that are fluid and rhizomatic in nature. One can see clusters of like objects — airplane parts, boats, carousel creatures, and more — seeming to explode into space in all directions, propelled by their aggregated momentum. The exhibition will be on view from February 7 through April 14, 2018, at Gagosian, 6-24 Britannia Street London WC1X 9JD.For details, visit: http://www.blouinartinfo.com/galleryguide/gagosian-gallery/overview Click on the slideshow for a sneak peek at the artworks.
