Long-Sharp Gallery will host “Sculptor Gino Miles: Master of Metal” at its Indianapolis venue.Gino Miles has been sculpting for over 45 years and the exhibition features important institutional, corporate, municipal and private collections worldwide. Long-Sharp Gallery has shipped Miles’ large-scale sculptures to London, France, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia, to name a few countries. New sculptures by Miles will be transported from his Santa Fe studio to Indianapolis for this exhibition. Miles has been sculpting for over 45 years. Despite the fact that he was classically trained in Italy, was co-founder of Italart (a sculpture school in Italy), and lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he has some surprising ties to Indiana. Miles studied with several prominent sculptors in his early years.
