Asia Society, New York is hosting an exhibition “In & Out of Context” that will be on view through December 4, 2016.To commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of Asia Society, the Asian art that John D. Rockefeller 3rd (1906-1978) and Blanchette Hooker Rockefeller (1909-1992) set in motion for the society will be exhibited. On display would be the distinguished pieces of art from all parts of Asia. The visitors will have the pleasure to see 17th Century Japanese screens, a masterfully cast Indian Chola period bronze of Krishna dancing, among many other ancient masterpieces which were developed in Asia.The exhibition is on view at Asia Society, 725 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10021.
