The Asia Society, New York will host the first retrospective of the artist Zao Wou-Ki's work in the United States and will be on view through January 8, 2016.Zao Wou-Ki (1920-2013) started his formal artistic training at the age of 15 years at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou. He created a distinct pictorial language formed by diverse influences.
