Royal Academy of Arts in London is hosting an exhibition titled “Surface Cutting” that will be on view through February 20, 2017.Curated by Eileen Cooper RA, this exhibition from ‘Art sales,’ brings together a diverse collection of works for sale by Royal Academicians including Greyson Perry, Eileen Cooper, Vanessa Jackson and Stephen Chambers alongside a number of invited artists. A number of these works are displayed at the Keeper’s House, situated at the Annenberg Courtyard of Royal Academy of Arts. The exhibition features works on the medium of wood and linocut, known as block printing, made by a variety of techniques including hand-printed Japanese woodblock to laser cutting.
