“It Started With a Rose,” a group exhibition curated by Cecilia Salama, is being hosted by 315 Gallery, Brooklyn till November 13, 2016. Through digital-only interactions, our lives have become more sterile and conditioned to go without human contact. The loneliness cultivated by digital culture has heightened our desire to seek comfort in objects that remind us of sensuality. Artists Elizabeth Englander, Greg Ito, Elizabeth Jaeger, Aidan Alexis Koch, Lee Maida, Sophia Narrett, Anna Sagström and Diamond Stingily bring alive that romance and sweet honesty through their craft.
