National Gallery, Prague, is hosting an exhibition, titled 'Three Centuries of American Prints from the National Gallery of Art, Washington', that will be on view through January 8, 2017.The exhibition offers a wide perspective on the history of American print production from its inception in the early 18th century till present. The display of 140 prints represent graphic art production from the colonial and revolution periods to the prominent works of the 20th century. The exhibition features works by artists like John Simon, James McNeill Whistler, Fanny Palmer, Mary Cassatt, Winslow Homer, George Bellows, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol among others.The exhibition is on view at Trade Fair Palace, Dukelských Hrdinů 530/47, 170 00 Praha 7-Holešovice, Czech Republic.
