Joseph McGlennon: Florilegium at Michael Reid Gallery, Sydney

Michael Reid Gallery, Sydney, is exhibiting a series of artworks by Joseph McGlennon titled “Florilegium.” The exhibition is on view till December 17, 2016.Florilegium is the continuation of a body of work by Joseph McGlennon, first commenced in 2014. Inspired from Joseph Banks’ botanical drawings and present glimpses to a rare and exotic paradise, the series has been acclaimed internationally; Florilegium #1 was the winner of 2015 William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize and has since been acquired by the Monash Gallery of Art and Australian Parliament collections.
