Royal Palace presents “Come to the dazzling ice rink …” which will run through February 13, 2017 in Dresden.A cabinet exhibition, it considers the motif of winter as reflected in the 17th and 18th centuries arts. The focal point comprises precious objects from the Grünes Gewölbe, which represent the cold season of the year through allegories and as reflections of everyday winter activities such as ice skating, but which also reflects the negative side of winter, which badly affected the lower classes.The exhibition is on view at Royal Palace, Taschenberg 2, 01067 Dresden, Germany.
